Last night on O’Reilly, he interviewed Patricia Ireland. Can you find all of the mistakes she made in her claims? Not the least of which is claiming at one point that life begins at conception, yet at another saying that the life of a human being that is here (the mother) is greater than that of a potential life (you know, the one that was an actual life only minutes before?)
Or how about claiming that Tiller HAD to perform abortions for serious health reasons. Like hypertension, (a live delivery works), or a “dead” baby…Huh? If the child is already dead then it isn’t an elective abortion, is it? That right up there with Clinton claiming we never use fertilized embryos!
Then there is the part where she claims that Roe V Wade does not allow for abortions throughout the entire nine months, but neglects to mention Doe V Bolton, where it does.
And of course, we mustn’t ignore the “33 states have outlawed” late term abortions statement. Except for HEALTH reasons, and as O’Reilly points out hangnails and migraines are considered health issues.
She says he is being demeaning to women, by making these claims. I’ve got news for you Pat, what is demeaning is acting like the American Public is too stupid to see through your charade!
The truth is that these babies were aborted because they were IMPERFECT or UNWANTED. Not because of the health of the mother. If a mother’s life was truly in danger, which has been disclaimed in Carhart vs Gonzales, then even a Catholic Hospital would and does, remove the baby. The difference of course, is that every attempt to keep them BOTH alive is required by Catholic Hospitals.

Right? I woke up in a bad mood and haven’t been able to shake it all day. She just infuriated me, and you could tell that Bill was just not informed enough to fight back. I mean he tried, but he didn’t have enough information. Then he called him Dr. Killer accidentally…yikes!
UGH… just made me mad all evening. I was so sickened by what she said my son looked up from his computer game and asked what made me so mad. (pretty impressive for a 16 year old to look up from a computer game)

Sometimes I do wish I could be in O’Reilly’s ear when he debates people like her……Not that I know more than him, but I already know the answers to their idiotic talking points and because it is what I debate day in and out……

LOL…that’s exactly how I felt. I was yelling the answers to him. We were right about one thing. Abortion and it’s reality are getting a lot of attention!
