Considering the democrats want “everyone” to be equal and scream about equality all the time, I find these stories hysterical. I know that the Dems can do the same thing to the Republicans when it comes to extramarital affairs but the Republicans don’t run around screaming that we must coexist with all and stop judging people on lifestyles. I guess that coexist and alternate lifestyle mentality is only geared toward religion and GLBT people and nothing else. Especially not when someone is over weight.
It is about as subtle as a playground taunt: a television ad for Gov. Jon S. Corzine shows his challenger, Christopher J. Christie, stepping out of an S.U.V. in extreme slow motion, his extra
girth moving, just as slowly, in several different directions at once.
In case viewers missed the point, a narrator snidely intones that Mr. Christie “threw his weight around” to avoid getting traffic tickets……
Mr. Murray (director of recent survey conducted by Monmouth University) said he believed that Mr. Corzine, in emphasizing Mr. Christie’s heaviness, was trying to convey a “subliminal message” that Mr. Christie was reckless with his health and thus, perhaps, reckless in other ways. “That’s exactly the one worry that voters would have about a challenger,” Mr. Murray said. “As much as they might dislike the incumbent, they have to feel that the challenger is somewhat of a safe choice.”
I saw an interview with Gov. Corzine and he said that the traffic ticket that was avoided was from a car accident Mr. Christie was involved in. He claimed that Mr. Christie was driving on the wrong side of the road and hit someone. However, Mr. Christie states that he was not driving on the wrong side of the road and that he was hit by someone and it was ruled the accident wasn’t his fault. Seriously, if Gov. Corzine’s scenario is true, that ad would have sparked more than just controversy about his weight. But it hasn’t.
Perhaps the Dems should stop thinking about coexisting and sexuality and start accepting those of us who are physically imperfect in their eyes. Think about it – Religion and Sexual preference can’t be seen on the outside if that person doesn’t want it to. The physically imperfect don’t have that choice.

Sounds like Corzine is desperate.
If it werent for the 3rd party in the race, I think Christie would win but.. Its NJ a very BLUE state. Will be an interesting election day.
