4 Cops killed so Huckabee won’t win 2012 election

Yes, you read that right.  The liberal media has already politicized the shooting at a Seattle coffee shop that killed 4 police officers.

Here is information on the only suspect:

(Maurice) Clemmons has a long criminal record in Arkansas and Washington. He was released from custody in Pierce County just a week ago, and was facing a charge of raping a child. Family members described him as being in a state of mental deterioration. Last spring, he was also accused of punching a sheriff’s deputy in the face.

At the time this is being wrote the suspect is in a standoff with the police and has671603A not been taken into custody.  Basically – the story hasn’t even ended yet.  This hasn’t stopped the press from attacking former Arkansas Governor Mike Huckabee for commuting Clemmons 95 year sentence.  Basically Huckabee followed one of the main democratic talking points of not allowing juveniles to have excessively long sentences for crimes.   This talking point has even made it to the U.S. Supreme court.

What the media isn’t saying right now is that Clemmons was 17 at the time he was found guilty of aggravated robbery in 1990.  Something else that they aren’t telling you is that clemency isn’t a get out of jail free card (some are actually saying Huckabee pardoned Clemmons which is a down right lie).  Clemency allowed for Clemmons in 2000 meant he was eligible for parole which was granted by a parole board.

Something else they are not telling you.  Shortly after the parole board released Clemmons he was arrested for violating parole and was supposed to serve the rest of that 95 year sentence but Prosecutors dropped the charges.

If you do a Google news search of ‘Clemmons Huckabee’ you will be able to see how much the liberal media and blogosphere is drooling over this.  It’s rather pathetic.  Barely 24 hours after 4 police officers were killed all they can do is try to make sure a Republican Candidate shouldn’t run for President in 2012.

The police officers that were killed are Sgt. Mark Renninger, 39, and officers Ronald Owens, 37, Tina Griswold, 40, and Gregory Richards, 42.  We will keep them and their families in our prayers.
