Community News (Part II)

image Back in May we added “Community News” to the site. I really liked the idea (still do), but it lacked some “oomph” as I see it. The limitation was that you could not add much except a link, add a short description, but we couldn’t discuss it as a community. I use a plug-in on another site which can address this short fall, it is just difficult to get running right. So now, I am opening up a new version of Community News that allows you to submit a post and if approved appears in-line with all the other posts. Basically, you get to join in and put your thoughts up with ours and as a community we can discuss it in a mostly civil manner.

There are rules and we reserve the right to allow or disallow anything based on content. You must be a registered user of the site to put up a submission. So come one, come all and let us know of any news story or thought that you want to have the community talk about or just know about. Think of it as a way to push us off topic or have your own personal Saturday Mixer.

So why don’t you let us know what news is important to you!

Submit your Community News.

I also don’t want us to forget all the contributions to the old community news. Thanks to all for joining in…
