We all know that Nancy Pelosi is trying to propose a new health care bill. You can see the entire 1,990 pages here.
One of the Indiana Congressman, Dan Burton, has posted 10 things we should know about the bill. You can read that here.
The RSC (Republican Study Committee) has information on what Pelosi’s proposal 
would do for tax payers funding abortions. Read that here.
The GOP website has the numbers for the Pelosi bill. (I have not had time to verify the information in that one.)

And now for some other news:
Although Obama just stated that he was confident that a health care bill would be passed this year, his own party has doubts it will.
According to Roll Call Pelosi’s plan is being help up because of “the thorny issues of abortion and immigration.”
And now some interesting policy’s in the bill itself:
Rationing: “The bill lacks any safeguards against rationing. As it is currently written, federal bureaucrats would be the arbiters of “high-value” health care-eventually denying patients life-saving but expensive treatments.”
Sexual predators would receive tax money for their “treatment” and “The bill would require that a bureaucrat determine when a sexual child abuser is no longer a threat to children before concluding their treatment.“ (Sec. 713, pg. 1925)
Abstinence education would be out – comprehensive sex education would taught with no mandate on the amount of abstinence that should be taught (if at all.) (Sec. 2526, pg. 1398) No shock here.

The tags thingy isn’t working. I put in the tags, they don’t show up and I’m prompted with a “You didn’t put any tags in…”, plus I notice that Val’s posts havent had any tags lately. I used tecnorati…
Also, when I put an image in a post on live writer, it won’t “show me” the correct placement of the pic until I post. I mean, I move it to the right (left, whatever) but it stays where it is until I’ve posted…why?
And lastly, why is the website STILL GRAY????????

I’m having problems with the pics too….
I do have tags on my posts though – they have moved to the bottom of the articles…
A) Update the settings in Live Writer… (will email you how).
B) Tags/comments are now at the bottom
C) I have been swamped at work and college (Computer Class, Business Class, Statistics Class… The business class had a huge research project). So I will get to the background soon… I also have to setup the new server and prepare to migrate the entire site.
The picture thing is just a problem within Live Writer and how it interpreted the theme… We can always look at other themes.
