Well, if nothing else, it was worth the 3 million just for the “pre game,er,commercial” coverage.
Anybody not in the know, unfamiliar with the abortion issue, Focus on the Family, etc, wouldn’t have a clue what the heck the commercial was even about.
After all the hoopla I was very disappointed in that commercial. I was expecting a “follow up” commercial later in the game, but it didn’t happen. The PP commercial didn’t get aired, so they must have thought the same thing I did – that the Tebow commercial did absolutely nothing for our cause. Everyone was watching the game and not on their computers and unless you are in pro-life you forgot about it and never went to the website.
Waste of money in my opinion. The money could have been used better.
I actually thought it was great. Focus on the Family had the monopoly on the abortion question for a good 2 weeks.. and the pro-abortion people now look like fools for opposing that ad.
The superbowl does not allow controversial political ads anyway..
I laughed after I saw it.. because I was thinking how stupid the abortion people look now. They were so mad for 2 weeks over that? Plus.. the entire country already knows the Tim Tebow story.. thanks to the pro abortion people making such a big deal over the ad.
How many people, outside of the few of us that are outspoken and have a firm belief on the issue, actually paid attention to all the controversy? That’s my fear. That the people that count didn’t give any of it much thought because most people turn their ears off the minute abortion is mentioned on the news.
This coming from the organization that believes women in an abusive relationship need to have access to abortion so they can continue living in their abusive relationship without raising children.
Um…yea….The Tebow commercial encourages violence but telling women to keep quiet about abusive relationships isn’t. The stupidity of it all is amazing.
Yeah- I don’t see what the uproar was about it. I found it pretty innocuous and vague.
Still though– so lame. Hard to understand what the pro-life message is in that spot..

I pray that I am wrong and you are right.
I dont know.. that ‘controversy’ was in every newspaper.. on the news…all over the internet..
I think most people heard of it…hope so anyway.
There were 2 ads.. one before the superbowl and one in the firs quarter.. I only saw the one in the 1st quarter.
I gotta agree with Kristi on this…
One Thirty Second Super Bowl Ad: $3,000,000.00
One Pre Game Ad: $2,000,000.00
500 air time hours devoted to discussing the ad: Free
N.O.W and Planned Parenthood freaking out: Priceless
Did you see on ORielly last night… the PRESIDENT of NOW said the ad encouraged violence toward women? They look like total idiots.
They look like total idiots??? They ARE total idiots. Sorry. But there comes a time where even compassion and mercy can’t help
