Is there a link between Abortion and Breast Cancer?
I have been unconvinced of any link so I have to admit, when I read the headline on the LifeNews website I didn’t read the article. I thought it was more exaggeration. However, I didn’t turn away when I read the same headline in a the U.K.’s newspaper, The Daily Mail (emphasis mine):
An abortion can triple a woman’s risk of developing breast cancer in later life, researchers say.
A team of scientists made the claim while carrying out research into how breastfeeding can protect women from developing the killer disease.

While concluding that breastfeeding offered significant protection from cancer, they also noted that the highest reported risk factor in developing the disease was abortion.
Other factors included the onset of the menopause and smoking……
The research was carried out by scientists at the University of Colombo in Sri Lanka.
Let’s use the internet to get more abortions
Jill Stanek reported on this one awhile ago. I didn’t report on it because I was just too stunned. However, since Planned Parenthood is now bragging that they want to expand the “telemedical abortions” nationwide I felt I should report on it.
Iowa is the only state in the country where Planned Parenthood of the Heartland is administering RU-486 pills using a remote camera and special pill dispenser to patients at rural
clinics…..
The new telemedicine technique allows a doctor to talk to and dispense the pills to a patient in a remote office location using a camera and microphone connected to the Internet, which allows for two-way communication. Officials said the patient is counseled by on-site staff before connecting to talk to the doctor who is at a different location.
Hospitals vs pro-life nurses
Funny how I found these stories after MK’s story on babies surviving abortion being abandoned to die with no medical help – not even anything to help relieve pain and suffering of a living human being. Now we have two stories of hospitals trying to bully nurses into performing abortions when the woman’s life is not in danger.
First story (I believe this one has some typo’s in it on the gestational age, but it was one of the only stories that I could find that actually gave enough information to understand what is going on):
A hospital on Long Island issued an apology Wednesday for disciplining nurses who refused to participate in an abortion.

Nassau University Medical Center now says the nurses did nothing wrong when they said they morally opposed taking part.
But..but…we can’t inform women of the facts! It’ll be too scary!
Nebraska has two bills that have been passed and waiting for the governors signature that is making planned parenthood and other abortion mills cry foul. However, these bills are written very well and without the emotional hysteric’s that some bills go into.
Nebraska could become the first state to require doctors to screen women for possible mental and physical problems before performing abortions under a bill that received final approval from the nonpartisan Legislature on Monday.
Translation: Abortion is now going to be treated as every other elective surgical procedure in the United States.
Republican Gov. Dave Heineman’s office said Monday he will sign the bill Tuesday, along with another groundbreaking abortion measure lawmakers are expected to pass then. That bill would ban abortions after 20 weeks based on the assertion that fetuses feel pain.
Recent Gallup Poll shows the Youth are seeing the Truth
When I was growing up my Mom was a hug pro-life advocate. She was an RN and had access to medically accurate information on the fetus in the womb. I knew from a tender age that abortion was murder, not because my Mom told me, but because I knew the medical truth. However, most people never got the opportunity to know the truth because back then medical knowledge wasn’t really shared. With the age of the internet that has all changed. The youth in America are not only asking questions, they have the answers at their fingertips in cyberspace.
It is my opinion that this is why many young men and women are looking at the modern feminist movement with a different perspective:
Gallup’s long-term abortion question — instituted two years after the 1973 Roe v. Wade ruling gave sweeping constitutional protection to abortion — asks Americans to say whether they believe abortion should be "legal under any circumstances," "legal only under certain circumstances," or "illegal in all circumstances." The current analysis looks at the trends on the basis of six segmented time periods between 1975 and 2009, creating expanded sample sizes for stability in subgroup analysis.
Of course, Democrats are not paying any attention to the scientific evidence that murder is murder, no matter how small or the location of the victim:
What should pro-life democrats do?
How many times do we hear that the democratic party isn’t the party of death? They falsely claim they are the party of choice. Well, once again we can show that they are only for the choice as long as they agree with that choice.
Rep. Bart Stupak, a pro-life Democrat, is chagrined. “They’re ignoring me,” he says, in a phone interview with National Review Online. “That’s their strategy now. The House Democratic leaders think they have the votes to pass the Senate’s health-care bill without us. At this point, there is no doubt that they’ve been able to peel off one or two of my twelve. And even if they don’t have the votes, it’s been made clear to us that they won’t insert our language on the abortion issue.”
Women fight so girls can die
It is women who lead the fight for abortion. Women. If abortion and the killing of an innocent child wasn’t lawful and encouraged we wouldn’t be here right now, would we? Every time a woman
stands by abortion, she stands by this story. She says that women are not worth anything. She says that it is okay to encourage a male dominated society which history has shown to be violent societies, especially toward women.
So, as the story goes:
Let’s Try this AGAIN!
Senator John Boehner of Ohio, broached the topic of abortion, at the health care summit yesterday. I have given up television for Lent so couldn’t watch the whole thing on C-Span, (which is probably a good thing because all the “point’s” I get for giving up TV would have gone right out the window, along with the TV, when I started cursing). This clip however, was enough. TALKING POINTS!!! Federal funding of abortion is a TALKING POINT???? And if this was supposed to be a bi-partisan discussion, then what is with the “Those of us on THIS side” remark? And why does it matter WHAT the people in that room think, if the American People DISAGREE???
Americans do NOT want federally funded abortions! Period. We don’t care what Sebelius, or Pelosi or Barack want. They work for US! I wish someone would tell them that.
