This is Christianity at its worse
This is the most ridiculous thing I have heard in a long time.
"Burn a Quran Day" is how a church in Florida is preparing to mark the ninth anniversary of 9/11. So far the Christian response to this in America has been nearly dead silence…..
If I had heard of this before now, I would have been screaming just as loudly as I have been about the ground zero Mosque. This is the most ridiculous thing I have ever heard!
Since 9/11 many American Christians have been asking why Muslims who oppose Islamist radicalism don’t do more to counter it. Today I suspect more than a few Muslims are looking at Christians in America wondering why Christians don’t try to dissuade the Dove World Outreach Center in Florida, led by Pastor Terry Jones, from hosting Burn a Quran Day.

So, I’ve told you about liberals in the media or liberal celebrities wanting to beat up all tea partiers and pee on them, wish a santantic death on Fox news and those who watch it, raping Palin, along with multiple other violent threats. They’ve called anyone who doesn’t agree with them racists, bigots and worse (I try not to use that kind of language). Palin’s daughters have been threatened with rape, and her infant son has been demonized.
I think you get my point. Even though I can go on and on.
So, I decided to check out the Lefty loons new website that asks people to video tape or photograph horrible things that the horrible tea partiers do.

Starting next year, Cleveland, a place occasionally saddled with the label of one America’s poorest cities, plans a high-tech pilot program for trash collection. The system will use recycling trash carts – a next generation trash can — embedded with radio frequency chips and bar codes.

Don’t you think that a church that was destroyed on 9/11 has the right to build BEFORE the Mosque is built? Hmm…. 9 years later and they still do not have a building.

Last July, the Port Authority and the Greek Orthodox Church announced a tentative plan to rebuild the church just east of its original site, at Liberty and Greenwich Streets. The authority agreed to provide the church with land for a 24,000-square-foot house of worship, far larger than the original, and $20 million. Since the church would be built in a park over the bomb-screening center, the authority also agreed to pay up to $40 million for a blast-proof platform and foundation.
Blame the oil spill!
If your preschooler is having problems wetting the bed or your older child is afraid of going to school or your teenager is experimenting with drugs, they may be acting out in response to the Gulf oil spill. That is directly from a Health and Human Services Department guide for parents and teachers on how kids might be affected by the disaster along the coast.
It says children could feel the effects even if they only watched the oil spill on television or overheard it being discussed by adults. The guide suggests adults should, "temporarily reduce your expectations about performance in school or at home, perhaps by substituting less demanding responsibilities."

Not too long ago one of our commenter’s went on a hysterical rant on the stupid things people have said about how Obama was going to “change” our country. Another commenter thought is was just more Obama bashing until it was pointed out that they were real quotes.
Listen to this radio broadcast from a Florida talk show and you will not only hear many of those quotes you will hear just how ignorant some people are.
The evils of the lemonade stand
The stupid news is that two – yes, two – inspectors tried to shut down a 7 year olds lemonade stand.
The stupider news is that the county chairman had to take time to appologize for the stupid news.
The stupidest news is that the inspectors were following the law.
This all happened in the state of Oregon. I mention this because the state of Oregon has elected mostly democrats to their state Congress since 1975. I wonder if their is a connection?
Tea Party Crashers
If an organization isn’t doing what you want them to do what do you do? I know! You send in crashers and anyone else, including your mother, to pretend to be “one of them” and have them behave badly in order for the organization to get bad press. Well, that isn’t what I would do, but it is the norm for the liberals.
There have been plenty of accusations that the members of the Tea Party Movement are racists. When the MSM began drooling for proof that the majority are racists they couldn’t get any. Just a few rouges who were chastised by the Tea Party People or other people claiming something happened with no proof and no witnesses. Well, the American people have been getting very ticked off at the MSM for lying to them and not telling them the truth during the last elections, they couldn’t get away with their exaggerations and lies this time. So, we now have people organizing Tea Party crashers in order for the new political movement to get bad press. Funny part is, they forgot to keep it a secret! This greatly benefits the Tea Party Movement because now they have “proof” that none of the poorly behaved people are actually Tea Party Members because we have these morons advertising on the internet and doing interviews.
Nancy Pelosi needs to go back to school
Nancy Pelosi isn’t that bright is she? We keep catching her in one ignorant comment after another. She needs to go back to school to learn History, which seems to be where her ignorance stems from.
She keeps saying that this healthcare vote is just like the partisan voting of Medicare in 1965. She says the republicans didn’t support Medicare either. 
Madam Speaker – I’d like to introduce you to the truth:
Medicare was passed during the 89th US Congress. Like today, the Democrats had a majority. There were 67 Democrats and 33 Republicans in the Senate. There were 290 Democrats and 136 Republicans in the House.
The bill passed in the Senate with a vote of 70-24 and in the House with a vote of 307-116.
In the Senate the Dems vote was 57-7 with 4 not voting and the Repubs vote was 13-17 with 2 not voting.
Stupid Is As Stupid Does…Diesel Clothing Does Award Winning Stupid
If being stupid is the objective, then they score for the win.
Yesterday, I went to Holy Name Cathedral for a “Evening With Mary”. We had Mass, the Rosary, and one of the visionaries from Medjugorje (Ivan Dragicevic) actually had his daily apparition right there on the altar! It was, as you can imagine, way amazing.
On the way back to the car, we passed a store. Apparently, though you sure couldn’t tell from the window display, it was a clothing store. There were no “clothes” to be seen, but the window was filled with signs, sporting various slogans on how to be cool.
The name of the store was “Diesel”. I have never heard of this store, but the people I was with were all too familiar with it. It is owned by a man named Renzo Rosso. His “headquarters” is in Molvena in Northern Italy.
