Holocaust only superstition? Then there’s a lot of superstitious photos out there
Get pictures! Thanks goodness they had the common sense to get tons of pictures after WWII.
I have never heard how Iranian officials have explained those pictures. Especially the ones published right after the war considering computers and photoshop wasn’t around then. Of course this never stops the bigoted from spewing hatred. Ya know, actual photographic evidence is consistently ignored by the bigoted – we see that everyday here in America! But I digress……..
A senior Iranian cleric, Grand Ayatollah Nasser Makarem Shirazi, dismissed the Nazi Holocaust of Jews during World War II as a new "superstition" for the West, media reported on Saturday.
"The Holocaust is nothing but superstition, but Zionists say that people of the world should be forced to accept this," he was quoted as saying by the state news agency IRNA.
Historical Propaganda still influencing us today
We have discussed WWII many times on here and on many other pro life sites. It usually starts with the proposed connection between the countless murdered Jews to the countless murdered unborn. However, there are times when it switches gears and we discuss the Christian role in WWII and Poland. I have fought many times about Poland’s role in WWII and the Christian Poles that helped. The reason I have fought it is because no one seemed to believe that the Polish Christians fought hard against the Nazi’s and were murdered in concentration camps right along with the Jews. My history knowledge comes from discussions my Polish family has had and many other people’s knowledge comes from the history books they had in school. The discrepancy has always bothered me.
Helmuth James Graf von Moltke, Christianity and Secularism
First they came for the communists, and I did not speak out—because I was not a communist;
Then they came for the trade unionists, and I did not speak out—because I was not a trade unionist;
Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out—because I was not a Jew;
Then they came for me—and there was no one left to speak out for me.
Helmuth James Graf von Moltke was hanged in Plotzensee prison in 1945. His crime? Not thinking as he was told to. Basically his way of thinking was a violation of Hitler’s agenda so he was jailed and put to death.
There was a resistance to Hitler’s plan for Germany and the majority of these resisters were not only politically opposed to his agenda they were morally opposed. It is when people believe that morality is in question is when we fight with passion and from our hearts. Hitler knew this which is why he tried to squash anything religious.
The Forgotten Poles
From Polish News:
Brooklyn, N.Y. … June 14th was observed as Flag Day in America. In Poland, the date was remembered as the day in 1940 that Hitler and his Nazis opened the gate of Auschwitz to receive the first inmates – 728 Polish prisoners they transported from Tarnów, Poland.
Rev. Janusz Lipski (far right) of St. Hedwig’s Church in Floral Park and Chaplain of the Long Island Chapter of the Polish American Congress joined three former Auschwitz prisoners to mark the infamous anniversary.
Shown with him are (from left to right) Andrew Garczynski; Michael Preisler and Walter Kolodziejek who participated in a special commemoration held at the Polish American Congress.
Mr. Kolodziejek was one of the earliest prisoners condemned to Auschwitz arriving there in August, 1940, just two months after the first transport of Poles. Mr. Preisler came in October, 1941 and Mr. Garczynski in 1943.
